報告簡介：

This study examines the impact of the 2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic on individual mutual fund investors’ trading behavior in the post-SARS era. We find that people in areas experiencing severe SARS epidemic exhibit stronger disposition effects after the end of the SARS epidemic, using a proprietary data set obtained from a large Chinese mutual fund family consisting of complete trading information. We further hypothesize that unsophisticated investors are more vulnerable to the disposition effects. Additional findings show that this mood-regulation-reduced behavior is irrational and related to behavioral biases, which ultimately makes investors worse off. Our results continue to hold across a wide range of robustness checks.

張學勇，現任中央財經大學金融學院院長，龍馬學者特聘教授，金融學院教授、博士生導師，社會科學基金重大項目主持人，黃大年教學團隊主要成員，北京市課程思政名師，中國資產管理研究中心主任。中國注冊會計師協會會員(CPA)，北京市應急委員會金融小組專家。主要研究方向:大數據與金融科技( Fintech) ;公司并購、重組、IPO與價值創造;投資者行為與實證資產定價;量化投資策略構造與數據回測;共同基金與對沖基金的業績評價、策略分析;私人股權投資基金與風險投資的投資策略與回報渠道。主持國家社會科學基金重大項目1項，國家自然科學基金2項，北京市課程思政示范課1門，中國博士后基金1項，獲評全國金融實驗教學“智盛獎"優秀教師，中央財經大學優秀指導教師，入選教育部新世紀優秀人才培養支持計劃。主筆的多篇政策建議研究報告獲得部委采納，在Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy,《經濟研究》、《經濟學(季刊)》、《管理科學學報》、《金融研究》、《中國工業經濟》等重要期刊發表論文多篇，擔任國際主流學術期刊Accounting &Finance(SSCI, JCR-2區)副主編( Editor)，China Finance Review International編委( Department Editor )，Journal of Banking and Finance、《經濟研究》等多個中外學術期刊匿名審稿人。
